Also, I liked how you can go into a mission area right from freely roaming - it’s a seamless transition which makes this the more definitive open world experience for the looter shooter genre. The spacing of events and enemy mobs is done just right so you won’t get sidetracked or get tired of fighting through enemies and always quick traveling. Sometimes I forget there’s a quick travel option because there’s a good amount of things to do when getting to your next objective. Before reaching the end game, the different zones in the playfield get progressively harder with higher level enemies. The map for this game is filled with many events like thwarting public executions, establishing safe points, missions, side missions, finding caches and loot and more.
